Birthday’s and bike mags
Pomp and Splendour just turned 2. The past year has been especially good. A pleasant surprise and lots of hard work and passion has paid off. For the first time in a very long time I feel as if I am doing exactly what I am supposed to be doing. I’m not trying to force something into reality, the wind is at my back and it’s a graceful movement forward. It’s humbling and deeply rewarding to be creatively close with nature and the seasons. Thank you to ALL of you who have helped, who have trusted and who have also dreamed Pomp and Splendour into reality. It’s a constant journey of pleasant surprises.
A few months back, the editor of a bike magazine Treadlie contacted me to ask me if I rode a bike and then if I would consent to being featured in a future issue. When the day came around for the interview to take place I was SO NERVOUS! I was sure that I would read like the most boring cycling florist this side of Melbourne. Of course it was fine, because professional writers are extremely clever at making everything read beautifully. Thank you Chloe Walker for the words and thank you Carole Whitehead for the the great pics with such a cool camera x
