Our team
Pomp and Splendour was created in Melbourne in 2011 by Petra after a decade of working with flowers across Sydney, Melbourne and Byron Bay. Years of travelling and working with artists and designers across a spectrum of mediums shapes the heart, mind and voice of Pomp and Splendour, bringing rich perspectives and a wealth of experience to every project large or small. Petra heads the Byron Bay studio and collaborates with creative director and seasoned florist Asha in the Melbourne studio. The pair work in synergy to bring events and weddings to life up and down the east coast.
Special projects include photoshoots for artists designers and musicians, brand activations, music video’s, weekly flowers for restaurants and boutiques, festivals and anything you can imagine.

Our Philosophy
We all share a deep love and respect for the natural botanical world. We source fresh seasonal flowers from a wide variety of local and Australian growers. We forage and grow plants and flowers that are used in our work minimising our use of imported product where possible. We are committed to composting all of our green waste after every event.

We at Pomp and Splendour recognise the traditional owners of the lands on which we work, live and create in both Naarm and Cavanbah; to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation and the Arakwal people of the Bundjalung nation. We respect all elders past and present, their cultures and connections to the lands and waters.
