+ Creative Direction & Design- Custom floral concept tailored to your vision and venue. Mood inspiration, seasonal flower advice and colour palette guidance. Recommendations to prioritise impactful hero elements while working within budgets, brand colours or preferred aesthetic.

+ Delivery & Installation- On-site delivery to all locations on the day: accommodation ceremony and reception venues. Full styling, installation and placement. Coordination with planners or venue teams.

+ Pack Down (if required)- Post-event pack down and green waste disposal. We can also repurpose any quality flowers for next day recovery lunch or gatherings.

the process

We guide you through every step from vision to execution, so the process feels clear, supported and enjoyable.

  • Once you have filled in the enquiry form our team will get back to you with our availability. We will send you a general price guide and book in a phone or video call appointment.

  • Our 30 minute appointment is an in depth conversation about your event. Whether you have a clear vision or need us to guide you through design options and seasonal flowers, we enjoy supporting you through the process.

  • We create a detailed proposal with clear pricing accompanied with a seasonal floral mood board. We hold the date for you for 2 weeks while you review. 

  • Let us know via email if you wish to go ahead with Pomp and Splendour as your florist. We will send you a deposit invoice of $1500 along with our booking contract and secure your date in our calendar.

  • A second meeting is scheduled 6 weeks before your event. We revisit the original design in more detail, confirm final guest numbers and floor plans and tidy up all logistics for on the day. We send out your final invoice and place your flower orders with our growers.

  • We hope to meet you on the day, otherwise our presence is usually behind the scenes.

FAQ

  • 6 months to a year is generally the typical time frame. If your event date falls on a busy weekend or a holiday it might be a good idea to get in touch as soon as you have a venue booked to check our availability as these dates fill up fast. Last minute enquiries are also welcome as there can often be surprise availability with a short lead time too

  • No minimum spend at all. If you are after elopement flowers for just yourself and your partner we are happy to arrange for you if we have availability. We love to work on weddings from a micro scale to a full floral extravaganza with unlimited budgets.

  • Every job we do is customised and bespoke.

  • Yes of course! Let’s get creative. We can help you determine what is worth spending your budget on rather than trying to tick too many things off a wish list.

  • Oh yes we travel! We regularly service areas all across Melbourne, country Victoria in all directions and anywhere in the Northern Rivers all along the coast and hinterland into the Gold Coast.

  • We have plinths, arches, arbours, stands, frames, urns, vases, candlesticks and all manner of interesting vessel, structures and containers for your beautiful flowers.

  • 100%. From delivering your personal flowers to you wherever you are getting ready to setting up ceremony and reception flowers- often relocating them, to packing down and composting or repurposing your flowers the next day for a recovery lunch.

  • Let us help you! This is our favourite part of the consultation process and we can help break it down to a colour palette and aesthetic that is completely YOU. 

    Pick our brain about what’s in season and what flowers and colours work best in a particular space or how can we capture a particular mood with flowers and botanicals.
